All Saints' Day

Blessed feast of All Saint's day to you!

Today is the beautiful feast of all the saints in Heaven.  As Catholics, we have days set aside throughout the year to remember and pray in a special way to God's beloved Saints who have been officially recognized by the Church as in Heaven and as special role models for us.  People such as St. Teresa of Calcutta, St. Nicholas, or St. Patrick all have a special day to remember them.

But what about all those souls in Heaven who aren't canonized or don't have a special day?  Their feast day is November 1st, All Saints Day.  We remember the faithful in Heaven and ask them to pray to our good Jesus for us!  Just as I pray for you, the saints, who are with Jesus in Heaven, pray to him for us.  How special it is that we have friends so close to God?!  Always remember to ask the saints for help!
