Hi everyone!!!

Yes! We went to Disneyland in February!!!  It was great!  Even though my team didn't win the SuperBowl, we still went to Disneyland!  The fun thing was that two of the Patriot's team members were there the day before us.

Olivia, one of the girls from Lego friends, and I.
On our first night, we went to downtown Disney.  We visited the Lego store and other fun shops!

Aren't dad and I so strong! XD

Beauty and the Beast

This is the first morning,  just inside the gates of Disneyland!

Instead of walking, "Right down the middle of Mainstreet, USA...", we quickly headed over to Adventureland to hop on Indiana Jones!  It can have one of the longest lines in the park and you could be waiting for hours.  I would definitely suggest getting a fast pass, it is free and you don't have to wait in such a long line.

We did stop really quickly on Mainstreet to snap a few pics!
I love how this is supposed to be Disney's casting agency for their characters!  I would so love to try out!
Sleeping Beauty's castle was closed for refurbishing for the 60th anniversary of the park.
After Indiana, we headed over to Tom Sayer Island.  It was really fun!  There are lots of passages and tunnels along with the cage ball from The Pirates of the Caribbean!
You got to pump for Gold in Pirate's Lair on Tom Sayer's island!
Later we saw Mickey's Soundsational Parade!

RAPUNZEL!!!! (need I say more!) She's my FAVORITE Disney princess!

Peter Pan was so funny!  He was jumping around dueling with "The Codfish". ;)
The second day we spent at Disney's California adventure Park.
Paradise Pier
Another great ride is Mickey's Fun Wheel!  It's a ferris wheel with moving and non-moving buckets.
We took the moving one.  I loved it, but mom and my sister wanted OFF! XD

Another one of my favorites in California was The Silly Symphony Swings!!! You know how they go around in the air! :)

One of our family's most favorite rides was Toy Story Mania.  It's a 3D carnival game experience where you are  reduced to toy size!  It was so fun we waited twice in 40-50 minute lines.  There are no fast passes though, so be sure to get in line early or during lunch hours!

I won Dumbo at the Pier games!
Mickey's Fun Wheel with California Screemin'
That night we went back to Disneyland because the California park closed at 6pm.  That night we rode space Mountain for a second time!  Such great fun!  It also has a very long line, but you can get fast passes.

That day, I had left my Rapunzel and Eugene barbies on the bed accidentally.  When we got back to the room, the room service ladies had put them nicely on the made bed, it was so sweet!

Jacquie drew this amazing picture of Rapunzel and Eugene!  I colored it. :D

Even though I'm 15 years old, Disneyland always make you feel like a kid again.  Sorry it took me so long to post.  You probably didn't even see this coming! XD  God bless!

Gilbert Blythe

Greetings ladies,

I have some very sad news to bear to you all.  Jonathan Crombie, who played Gilbert Blythe, passed away on April 15, 2015 at the age of 48 of a brain hemorrhage.  He portrayed the beloved character from my favorite book and movie series of all time.  Gilbert was the sweet schoolboy rival, and eventually Anne's beloved soul mate.

Gilbert Blythe was a sweet character who fell in love with the redheaded orphan.  They lived in the small town of Avonlea on Prince Edward Island.  Jonathan was said to be very much like his character and even answered to the name Gill on the streets. :)

I really loved Jonathan's acting skills.  He was cast as Gilbert without auditioning, off of the high school stage.  He was a very lucky guy.  He fit in so well with Megan Follows (Anne Shirely) and the rest of the professional Avonlea cast.  I really look up to him as a beginning actress.

Here is Jonathan talking about learning new stuff on the set of Anne of Green Gables. *sigh*

Anne and Gilbert, the perfect couple. <3

It really is so sad and sudden to loose this great actor.  Please pray for the repose of his soul, his family's strength and comfort, and his shocked fans.  (Including me! *sniff* *sob*)

<3 His memory will be kept by all his fans and passed on from generation to generation in these timeless movies. <3

Here is what Sullivan Entertainment put up on their Facebook Page Yesterday;
The staff and management of Sullivan Entertainment extend their condolences to the Crombie family over the tremendous loss of Jonathan. We were deeply saddened to learn of his tragic passing.
Kevin Sullivan issued a statement to the press stating:
“Jonathan was as generous, sensitive and ambitious a man as the character of Gilbert Blythe; a role he portrayed onscreen in three different Anne of Green Gables mini-series and in Road to Avonlea. He was the quintessential ‘boy-next-door’ to legions of Anne fans around the world; many of whom fell in love with his portrayal of Gilbert and continued to applaud and praise his performance thirty years later. Jonathan became a true Canadian legend.
We will never forget his generosity, his warmth and his gift for being able to touch audiences. He worked so hard at making it seem effortless. In fact his heart shone through every frame.”

Please pray for his soul.
God bless!

Stand with Students for Life in Fargo, North Dakota

[The following is a special message for Catholic Vote members from Kristan Hawkins, President of Students for Life of America.]

Dear Pro-Life Friend,

I'm Kristan Hawkins, the president of Students for Life of America, the nation's largest pro-life youth organization, and I have to ask for your help today.

Since last year, our full-time team has been working with brave high school pro-life students, Brigid and Katie in Fargo, North Dakota.

These two girls have courageously volunteered to start a much needed Students for Life group at two public high schools in Fargo - Fargo North High School and Davies High School. Despite the fact that their schools have allowed a “Gay-Straight Alliance” on campuses, both of their public high schools have denied Brigid and Katie their constitutional guaranteed right to freedom of speech and assembly saying that starting a pro-life group will be “too controversial!”

In fact, their administrators have put these students through extensive questioning, including inappropriate questions about their religious affiliations, and have gone to the entire Fargo School Board to stop pro-life student groups from being started in the entire city!!

It’s outrageous!

After months of trying to work with the schools to uphold our students’ constitutional rights, we are going public with our story and threatening to take legal action against the Fargo School District if they don’t relent.

However, these two courageous students - Brigid and Katie - are coming under intense scrutiny in their classes and in their school hallways with taking this case public.

So I need your help today.

Can you send a short note of encouragement and support to these girls?

Brigid and Katie are only sophomores yet they are standing up for what’s right, even in the face of criticism, simply because they know how important it is to have a Students for Life group at their schools.

They know starting a pro-life group will mean that they can save lives, help other young girls in crisis, and educate their peers about abortion and to steer clear of the abortion Goliath, Planned Parenthood.

Right now, our team at Students for Life has been helping Brigid and Katie prepare for media interviews, we have a staff member in Fargo with the girls to help them through this time, and our attorneys at the Thomas More Legal Society are working hard on our legal options from here.

However, these brave girls need to know that they aren’t alone. They need to know that you and I are standing with them in this battle - standing up for the constitutional rights of all pro-lifers and for the lives of the preborn and their mothers who depend on our work. Today, can you take just 2 minutes and send Brigid and Katie a message of support? While it may not seem like too much to you, it will mean the world to them!

Go here now to send them a message:

For Life,
Kristan Hawkins
President, Students for Life of America

just wanted to share this letter with you all and please ask you all to send letters of encouragement to these two wonderful girls!  If you would like to know what you can do as a student to help the Pro-life movement, please visit  Thank you all so much!

God bless!

Divine Mercy Novena day 9 (last day)

Ninth Day
Today bring to Me

the Souls who have become Lukewarm,

and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. These souls wound My Heart most painfully. My soul suffered the most dreadful loathing in the Garden of Olives because of lukewarm souls. They were the reason I cried out: 'Father, take this cup away from Me, if it be Your will.' For them, the last hope of salvation is to run to My mercy.

Most compassionate Jesus, You are Compassion Itself. I bring lukewarm souls into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart. In this fire of Your pure love, let these tepid souls who, like corpses, filled You with such deep loathing, be once again set aflame. O Most Compassionate Jesus, exercise the omnipotence of Your mercy and draw them into the very ardor of Your love, and bestow upon them the gift of holy love, for nothing is beyond Your power.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon lukewarm souls who are nonetheless enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Father of Mercy, I beg You by the bitter Passion of Your Son and by His three-hour agony on the Cross: Let them, too, glorify the abyss of Your mercy. Amen.

Divine Mercy Novena Day 8

Sorry I haven't posted this yet today!  Tomorrow is the last day of the novena!

Eighth Day
Today bring to Me
The souls who are in the prison of Purgatory,
and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. Let the torrents of My Blood cool down their scorching flames. All these souls are greatly loved by Me. They are making retribution to My justice. It is in your power to bring them relief. Draw all the indulgences from the treasury of My Church and offer them on their behalf. Oh, if you only knew the torments they suffer, you would continually offer for them the alms of the spirit and pay off their debt to My justice.

Most Merciful Jesus, You Yourself have said that You desire mercy; so I bring into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls in Purgatory, souls who are very dear to You, and yet, who must make retribution to Your justice. May the streams of Blood and Water which gushed forth from Your Heart put out the flames of Purgatory, that there, too, the power of Your mercy may be celebrated.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls suffering in Purgatory, who are enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. I beg You, by the sorrowful Passion of Jesus Your Son, and by all the bitterness with which His most sacred Soul was flooded: Manifest Your mercy to the souls who are under Your just scrutiny. Look upon them in no other way but only through the Wounds of Jesus, Your dearly beloved Son; for we firmly believe that there is no limit to Your goodness and compassion. Amen.

Here is also the prayer of St. Gertrude the Great for the souls in Purgatory:

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family.

God bless,

Divine Mercy Novena Day 7

Hi everyone!  Here is the next day of the novena!

Seventh Day
Today bring to Me
The souls who especially venerate and glorify My Mercy,
and immerse them in My mercy. These souls sorrowed most over my Passion and entered most deeply into My spirit. They are living images of My Compassionate Heart. These souls will shine with a special brightness in the next life. Not one of them will go into the fire of hell. I shall particularly defend each one of them at the hour of death.

Most Merciful Jesus, whose Heart is Love Itself, receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who particularly extol and venerate the greatness of Your mercy. These souls are mighty with the very power of God Himself. In the midst of all afflictions and adversities they go forward, confident of Your mercy; and united to You, O Jesus, they carry all mankind on their shoulders. These souls will not be judged severely, but Your mercy will embrace them as they depart from this life.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls who glorify and venerate Your greatest attribute, that of Your fathomless mercy, and who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls are a living Gospel; their hands are full of deeds of mercy, and their hearts, overflowing with joy, sing a canticle of mercy to You, O Most High! I beg You O God:

Show them Your mercy according to the hope and trust they have placed in You. Let there be accomplished in them the promise of Jesus, who said to them that during their life, but especially at the hour of death, the souls who will venerate this fathomless mercy of His, He, Himself, will defend as His glory. Amen.

Divine Mercy Novena Day 6

Sixth Day
Today bring to Me
the Meek and Humble Souls and the Souls of  Little Children,

and immerse them in My mercy. These souls most closely resemble My Heart. They strengthened Me during My bitter agony. I saw them as earthly Angels, who will keep vigil at My altars. I pour out upon them whole torrents of grace. I favor humble souls with My confidence.

Most Merciful Jesus, You yourself have said, "Learn from Me for I am meek and humble of heart." Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart all meek and humble souls and the souls of little children. These souls send all heaven into ecstasy and they are the heavenly Father's favorites. They are a sweet-smelling bouquet before the throne of God; God Himself takes delight in their fragrance. These souls have a permanent abode in Your Most Compassionate Heart, O Jesus, and they unceasingly sing out a hymn of love and mercy.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon meek souls, upon humble souls, and upon little children who are enfolded in the abode which is the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls bear the closest resemblance to Your Son. Their fragrance rises from the earth and reaches Your very throne. Father of mercy and of all goodness, I beg You by the love You bear these souls and by the delight You take in them: Bless the whole world, that all souls together may sing out the praises of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.

Today we are praying for all children and all with child-like souls.  This is one of the most beautiful prayers as it reminds us that the only way to get to heaven is to be like a child in faith.  A child believes almost anything their parent tell them, and so we too must believe what the Church and Jesus teaches.  Jesus hears the prayers of the children FIRST.  That is why their prayers are the most powerful.  As it says in 1 Timothy:

"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." (1 Timothy 4:12)

God bless!

Divine Mercy Novena Day 5

Happy Eastertide!

Fifth Day
Today bring to Me
The Souls who have separated themselves from my Church,
and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. During My bitter Passion they tore at My Body and Heart, that is, My Church. As they return to unity with the Church My wounds heal and in this way they alleviate My Passion.

Most Merciful Jesus, Goodness Itself, You do not refuse light to those who seek it of You. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Church. Draw them by Your light into the unity of the Church, and do not let them escape from the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart; but bring it about that they, too, come to glorify the generosity of Your mercy.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Son's Church, who have squandered Your blessings and misused Your graces by obstinately persisting in their errors. Do not look upon their errors, but upon the love of Your own Son and upon His bitter Passion, which He underwent for their sake, since they, too, are enclosed in His Most Compassionate Heart. Bring it about that they also may glorify Your great mercy for endless ages. Amen.

I'm still on break, so I thought I would schedule some more of these!  It is amazing that prayer can make you post every day! I have scheduled the release of "The Homeschooler of the Month" for the 8th, so please stay tuned!

In the meantime, here is a modesty challenge from Modern Modesty!  It's a great inspiration for spring fashion! Enjoy!

Divine Mercy Novena Day 4

Today is just like another Easter because we are now in the Easter octave!  (Eight whole days of Easter!!!)

Fourth Day
Today bring to Me
Those who do not believe in God and those who do not yet know Me.
I was thinking also of them during My bitter Passion, and their future zeal comforted My Heart. Immerse them in the ocean of My mercy."

Most compassionate Jesus, You are the Light of the whole world. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who do not believe in God and of those who as yet do not know You. Let the rays of Your grace enlighten them that they, too, together with us, may extol Your wonderful mercy; and do not let them escape from the abode which is Your Most Compassionate Heart.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who do not believe in You, and of those who as yet do not know You, but who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Draw them to the light of the Gospel. These souls do not know what great happiness it is to love You. Grant that they, too, may extol the generosity of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.

What I wore Sunday and Divine Mercy Novena Day 3

I hope you all have a blessed Easter Sunday with your families and friends!!!!  This is such a joyous day!!!
Let's start first with the novena. :)

Third Day
Today bring to Me
all devout and faithful souls,
and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. These souls brought me consolation on the Way of the Cross. They were a drop of consolation in the midst of an ocean of bitterness.

Most Merciful Jesus, from the treasury of Your mercy, You impart Your graces in great abundance to each and all. Receive us into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart and never let us escape from It. We beg this grace of You by that most wondrous love for the heavenly Father with which Your Heart burns so fiercely.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon faithful souls, as upon the inheritance of Your Son. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, grant them Your blessing and surround them with Your constant protection. Thus may they never fail in love or lose the treasure of the holy faith, but rather, with all the hosts of Angels and Saints, may they glorify Your boundless mercy for endless ages. Amen.

Next, here is What I Wore Sunday!

I wore my new Sailor dress that is a Rare Edition from Burlington.  It is my new favorite. :)
