Happ St. Valentine's Day

I hope you all had a wonderfully, lovely day!  I've been reading many beautiful and sweet blog posts from St. Valentine's Day!  (Please take a minute, if you have one, to look at the list of blogs I follow to see their special posts for February 14th!)

I honestly don't know what to write for this post; what love means to me, an explanation of my new header, my favorite love stories, best St. Valentine's Day music playlist, or something else?

So, I'll combine these ideas!  😃

Starting at the right of my header (these are in no particular order), Elizabeth and Darcy from Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice are a couple who many of you know.  I love this story because it is very unlike your traditional fairytale with love at first sight.  When I read it, I feel I grow along with Elizabeth and Darcy.  They overcome their own wills and expectations of love to find they really do belong with each other.

Next are Constable Jack Thorton and Miss Elizabeth Thatcher, a school teacher on the Canadian frontier.  My family has just started watching season 3 of When Calls the Heart and we have been hooked from the beginning!  It's not only a most beautiful romance, but Mountie action, mystery, and friendship.  My favorite thing about Elizabeth and Jack is how they look at each other; they love each other, but they must figure it out for themselves.
Now, here's where the Valentine's day playlist starts!  Listen to Daniel and Erin sing "Never Stop".
 ❤

Of course, my favorite couple of literature, screen, and stage, Anne and Gilbert!!!  Gilbert waits for Anne!  He is a complete gentleman! (all these guys are, really)  I just can't say how I love them enough.  When Anne realized she had loved Gilbert all along, she saw how he fulfilled all of her dreams!
My favorite song that describes their romance.

Rapunzel and Eugene!
Not only do I love the story of their fun, unexpected romance, but I also can't get enough of their face characters at Disneyland! 😃  Eugene realizes there's a lot more to life than just adventure and fame.  Rapunzel learns that family is so important.  At least, that's one way I like to look at it.
Is it alright if I post two videos of this song? Hehe!

Finally, Charlotte and Will from Burns Family Studio's Beyond the Mask.  If you haven't seen this movie, I would highly suggest planning it for your next movie night! First they become friends, but quickly fall in love.  Will is swept up however in the mistakes of his past life, and feels he must prove to Charlotte that he is worthy of his love and forgiveness. She shows him that only Christ can offer true redemption!

Well, I hoped you liked my little synopsis.  I'm sorry it is a little late for the actual St. Valentine's day!
Have a wonderful week!
