Goodbye, Two-Thousand Seventeen

Hello friends!!  A happy and blessed New Year to you!  I can't believe how 2017 has gone bye so quickly.  2017 now seems like a very good friend and I don't want to leave it.  So, to celebrate this year and remember it well, here are some of my favorite highlights of the year.

Firstly, (if I calculated this right...) I had 7,499 page views this year!  Wow!  (How many of those were myself just trying to figure out a good blog design... ;P)

But this year was filled with more than I've posted on my blog.  Here are some of my most favorite memories from 2017.

We experienced the Easter Triduum in the Traditional Latin Mass.

I attended one of my best friend's wedding.

My mom and I got to visit Clear Creek Abbey.

We made a trip to the beach before graduation.

I got to visit TAC for the first time.

I graduated MODG Class of 2017

I had a local graduation ceremony with my two fellow classmates and long-time friends.  I also got to deliver our class speech.

My sister, friends, and I attended the 2nd Annual Sacred Music Symposium.

I got to sing in a beautiful TLM Nuptual Mass.

My family and I attended the 5th Annual Sacred Liturgy Conference where we got to meet fellow blogger, Jessica @ Shower of Roses, Mother Miriam, Archbishop Sample, and Cardinal Burke!

We also got to visit my great aunt and uncle in WA.  We hadn't seen them in a long while.

We celebrated the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady at Fatima.

I flew solo for my first time to MO.

I got to visit the Benedictine Sisters in Gower, MO for the first time.  It was heavenly!

I also got to tour New Orleans, LA with friends.  This is my favorite church we visited, St. Patrick's Church.
2018 was also the year in which I discovered many wonderful B-way musical soundtracks.

This year was filled with so many wonderful memories that I can't even recount them all.  Thank you to my dear family and friends for such a memorable year.  Whether I met you once or have known you for ages, it was certainly such a blessing to be able to spend time with you this year.  I will treasure these times forever.

But now, IT'S 2018!!!!!  There is so much to look forward to.  What will this year hold?  I do hope Our Lord continues to bless each and every one of you in this New Year!

Happy New Year!!!

I always wonder how many views mine would drop if it didn't count my views as I'm trying to fix something or comment, or whatever...LOL.

I loved all the pictures of the churches, and the convent in MO!!

  5. Oh wow!! That is so cool! We got to go to 2 Latin masses there. The first was on all Saints' Day, and the second was for All Souls's Day and was Mozart's Solemn Requiem Mass. How cool!
