Pinterest Problems??
I was just wondering if anyone else is having problems with Pinterest?? Both my sister and I are seeing a TON of pins in our feeds that are totally irrelevant, and sometimes even inappropriate.
I've never pinned or searched Peter O'Toole (an actor apparently in Lorence of Arabia) yet my Pinterest feed is FILLED with pics of him and related people.
I've looked at a couple pins of Kili from The Hobbit, but now, I'm getting a bunch of foreign pins from boards called Kili (or some other close name) that have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Kili!!!!!!!
My sister was seeing a bunch of graphic, inappropriate, disgusting pins on a board called "The Desolation of Smaug". Let me tell you! It had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with The Hobbit, Smaug, or Tolkien!!!!!
Anyone else having this problem??? Please let me know if you have a way to fix this!! We love Pinterest and it would be so terrible to have to get off, but if this continues, we'll have to.

I haven't been on Pinterest in a while, but I've noticed some really weird and inappropriate stuff pop up in my feeds too. I blame automatic tracking software for the most part.

DeleteSarah and Farm Lassie, have you checked settings to see whether "picked for you" pins is turned on? I used to get pin recommendations that I didn't like but when I turned "picked for you" off, it showed me only pins by the people I follow. Hope that helps!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestion, Natalie. My "picked for you pins" were turned off so sadly that wasn't the reason. After a few days though, I think Pinterest caught up with the requests I was making and all those pins went away. Oh well... Thanks again for the help! :D
