Without further ado, here are the questions:
Does it snow where you live around Christmas? (If it doesn't, you have my sincere sympathy.) How much? Any special snowy Christmas stories?
No, it doesn't snow here. Maybe just a light dusting once in a blue moon. The mountains do get some snow and they're pretty to look at out my window. When it did snow at our old house (we had grass in the back-yard) we looked at it forever like the little children that we were with wonder and awe. Dad would take pictures before we would tiptoe out to the back corner, so the snow wouldn't get disturbed, then we would play in it.
Do you get a real tree or a fake tree?
What is your favorite Christmas movie?
Definitely It's a Wonderful Life! It's a family tradition each year to watch it together at some point in the Christmas season. I love the message of hope, redemption, love, and family. George Baily is just so cute and sweet, too! Someday, if I do get married, I'd love to settle down like the Bailys in a beautiful old house and have sweet children like theirs.
Where in the world would you like to spend Christmas the most?
Oh, this is a hard one. Mackinac Island, MI. It's a summer touristy island with lots of history. There are no cars on the island, you can only get to the island by boat, and there are not too many year-round residents, but I believe it would be so beautiful. They get around by horse drawn carriage and bikes in the summer, and sleighs and snow mobiles in the winter! ❤
What fictional/literary character would you most like to spend Christmas with?
Oh, that's a very hard one. Maybe Mr. and Mrs. Darcy (Elizabeth and Fitzwilliam) They seen like their house would be filled with music and good Christmas cheer.
What is your favorite Christmas song?
Ah! There are so many good ones.
Josh Groban's "Silent Night"
And
Jamie Grace's "Born Tonight"
What is your favorite Christmas book/story (besides, ya know, the story)?
I have never really read Christmas novels, but I'd love to!! I love all of our beautifully illustrated Christmas children's books.
Which period drama has the best Christmas scene/episode?
Ooh! There are so many!!
