Sunshine Blogger Award Vol. 2
Hello Everyone! I have another exciting tag to share with you today! The Extraordinary Emma over at A Bookworm's Majestic Adventures has tagged me with the Sunshine Blogger Award!
Questions
1. What inspired you to start a blog, and how did you come up with your blog’s title?
I was first inspired to start a blog when a friend of mine did in 6th or 7th grade. I'd also seen and loved her mom's blog before that. My title was also inspired by this friend's blog title. Her blog was called Tales of a Seventh Grade Mosquito Hater. Cute, hu? 😉 I decided I didn't have a true theme for my blog except that it was about my life and I was a homeschooler. You may be wondering if that title is going to change now that I've graduated. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
2. Can you do a cartwheel?
Yes! Hehe!
3. If you could live in any fictional story world you wanted to, what would you choose? (i.g. Star Wars, Ella Enchanted, Zootopia…)
Oh boy... I've never seen any of those movies although I have a slight understanding of their realms. If I could choose a fictional story world to live in, maybe it would be the land of Narnia. There, you can be a princess, go on a thrilling adventure through the woods, meet many interesting friends, and end the day with tea at a faun's house.
4. Would you consider yourself good in the kitchen?
Ha...ha... um... no. I am slowly working on my skills though and have definitely become more confident.
What is something (new hobby, skill, etc.) that you would love to learn?
You know, ASL, American Sign Language, is something I've been interested in learning recently. It would be a useful and fun skill to have, I'm sure.
Do you have any advice you would give to beginning bloggers to make their blog the best it can be?
I've said it before and I'll say it again, BE YOURSELF! 😄 This is the most important thing. People are attracted to sincerity and authenticity. Everyone may not have the same interests, views, or opinions as you do, but just imagine how hard it would be to try blogging to please every personality! When you write about what you are passionate and excited about, not only will you enjoy it most, but others will enjoy your honesty.
What was your favorite childhood story? What is your favorite story now?
Ooh!! Great question! I read many many many books and stories as a child. Some of my favorites were I'll Love You Forever, Great Day for Up, the Dick and Jane series, and many more.
My favorite story now is probably still Anne of Green Gables and the rest of the series. It's delightful. There are adventures, mistakes, dreams, and romances.
Do you have a favorite Bible verse right now? Why is it your favorite?
There are so many wonderful verses. Of course my all-time favorite is Numbers 6:24-26,
"The Lord bless thee, and keep thee.
The Lord shew his face to thee, and have mercy on thee.
The Lord turn his countenance to thee, and give thee peace."
A really good one I found recently though, is Psalm 37:4, "Delight in the Lord, and he will give thee the requests of thy heart."
If you could have a super power, what would you choose and why?
Another fun question!! I think I might choose time travel. I would love to visit multiple time periods and events.

You can only have one meal – one main dish, two sides, and one dessert – for the rest of your life. What is it?
Oh dear, Emma!!! How can you put me in a predicament such as this!! 😲😉 Ok. If I had to choose, maybe it would be taco soup as the main dish, guacamole with extra garlic powder and tempura fried green beans from The Habit Burger Grill (yum!!) as my two sides, and for dessert, hm... my sister's homemade chocolate cake with vanilla frosting and Devonshire clotted cream filling. 😍 😋
Of course, if you asked me this same question a week from now, I might say something entirely different. 😂

Not to sound prideful in any way, but yes. 😊 I really like having pictures to look back on and remember fun times/events/etc. Of course, taking pictures with friends is the best!!
This post wouldn't be complete without tagging friends and passing on questions!

Thank you once again so much, Emma!! I hope you all enjoyed! Of course, you're free to answer the questions, even if you didn't get tagged!
Have a funny, sunny day. 😂😉
OOOhhh, I like this tag!
ReplyDeleteYour first blog name is adorable :).
I have seen all of those movies, so I can clear up some of the confusion. Basically - Star Wars is based in outer space, Zootopia was a metropolis, Ella Enchanted was an example of a fantasy world....that sort of thing.
I loved reading all of your answers, Sarah!
