I don't know what to write or the right way to write it...
Hello my lovely people!!
Long time no see!! I just wanted to hop on here and write a post because it's been too long since I've blogged. I've been super busy with life but still somehow have plenty of free time to waste on FaceBook. But I miss blogging so here I am.
Firstly, I'd like to ask you, how are you? I hope everything is going amazing for you and if not, I pray you get better soon!! If hugs will help, here: hugs from me to you. (Sorry the video at the end of that post doesn't work. It's an old post to be sure.)
Secondly, I thought I'd share just a little bit about what's going on in my life right now. The Life of a Homeschool Graduate who's celebrating her 2nd graduation anniversary hasn't been boring. 😁
Newsies
My friends, family, and I went to go see my absolute all time favorite Broadway show put on by a community theatre group here in town. Let me tell you, don't underestimate community theatre because it was AAAMAAAZIIIIIING!!!
Texas Travels
At the end of April/ Beginning of May, I was blessed to be able to visit my Confirmation sponsor and family friends in Texas!! You may know I call myself a city girl but I was baptized a country girl in mud, sweat, water, and mosquito bites that week. We took care of their farm animals (goats, chickens, a lama, and dogs,) went fishing, did some gardening, played baseball, and all kinds of fun things. The highlight of my week there though was a Contra Dance in Dallas, TX.
Singing in the Rain
My friends and I also went to see a high school production of Singing in the Rain. It was fantastic!! I love going to see shows with my friends so much. We all love talking about them and singing the songs together.
Hand Lettering
I've been working on some hand lettering techniques and tutorials from Pinterest! It's amazing what you can do with some sharpies or markers and a ballpoint pen!
Well, I think those were my highlights from April and, so far, May! I have many more exciting things planned that I hope to share with you!
I hope you have a wonderful day, friend! What have you been up to recently? Are you finished with school? Ready for summer?
God bless you and keep you until we meet again!!

We got to chat with the amazing cast afterwards and they were sooo gracious. We snapped a few photos and had a few good laughs. They were just awesome. Fansies dreams come true.

The Contra Dance on Saturday night was a blast!! Thank you to all of my partners for graciously putting up with my mistakes and slow learning. All of the guys were complete gentlemen; Texas gentlemen.
My other big, BIG highlight of the trip was this guy! I got to feed lettuce to a giraffe, my all-time favorite animal!!! 😍 I was sooo excited!

Last year I got to see Newsies as a local production and you are right, never underestimate them! I'm glad that you were able to see a version.
ReplyDeleteOh, Contra dancing is so much fun! I haven't done it in forever, but it is always a blast.
It was good to read a post from you, Sarah! Enjoy the rest of your May!
That's awesome!! Glad you go to see a production of it too.
DeleteThank you MC! I had a great end of May and I hope you did too! Can't believe it's already June!
God bless!
